On the plus side, is the nearly full size keyboard. If price is your bottom line, the HP will work for you.

Asus Eee PC 1005 HA

Asus has a low price with its offering. The median price runs just $314.00, while the specs seem similar to the HP, there are minor differences. The processor is an Intel Atom 1.60GHz, 1GB of DDR2 memory, and a 120 GB hard drive. It runs Windows XP. The battery lasts 6 hours. The screen size here is a tad larger than the HP at 10.6 inches. This Mini Laptop is still within range for those with a tight budget.

Dell Inspiron Mini 10V

Dell’s Mini Laptop is at the higher end of the price spectrum, retailing for $536.00. On the outside it would appear to be little different than the first two minis mentioned here. 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB DDR2 memory, and a 160 GB hard drive. However the main difference here is that the Dell runs Windows 7 starter for small notebooks.

Samsung Go N310

This Mini Laptop comes in several bright colors, but has much of the same in the way of power. Again we see a 1.6 Intel Atom processor, and 1 GB of memory. However it does boast a larger hard drive, at 250 GB, and a 10.1 inch screen. The operating system is Windows XP SP3. The Samsung costs $449.00.

Sony Vaio NetBook W111
